"The 8th CCA-Annual Human Rights Training"On August 9-15,2004 at Wisma PGI Jakarta,Indonesia 30 participants coming from different countries such as Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, HongKong , India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Timor Leste and Thailand will joint the 8th CCA Annual Human Rights training.The participants are representing CCA member churches from those countries (CCA's constituencies).This training is mainly to equip the participants with skill and knowledge that deal with a comprehensive human rights issues and aspects.Case studies on human rights will be presented and deliberated during the training. The resource persons among others are Mr.Clement John the WCC's International Affairs and Human Rights Secretary,Mr.Basil Fernando the Director of Asia Human Rights Commission and his colleague Mr.Ali Saleem both based in Hong Kong,Dr.Judo Poerwowidagdo from Peace and Reconciliation Center in Jakarta and Dr.Izak P.Lambe the General Secretary of PGI.Tony Waworuntu on behalf of CCA is the organizer of this training. posted by Tony Waworuntu on Friday, July 30, 2004 |
